Churches & Cemeteries
Of Tampere's churches, particularly the Cathedral, Kaleva Church, Alexander Church and Finlayson Church are worth a visit. In the evening, most churches serve as concert venues.
The beautiful Orthodox Church is open for visitors during the summer months. Built in the 1890's, the neo-byzantine temple is well worth a visit.
There is also a Roman Catholic Church in Tampere. Moreover services in Finnish there are masses in English on Sundays.
