You can see the best films in town at the Centre’s own cinema, Niagara. Niagara is situated at Kehräsaari, in the same building as the office of the Centre. There are 129 seats in the cinema and performances seven nights a week. The cinema screens both 35 and 16 mm films as well as video films. Besides the normal programme, there are numerous special screenings of different kinds at the cinema. Ticket reservations, p. (03) 214 1144, for the price of a local call!
Film culture in the Tampere region
Pirkanmaa Film Centre arranges screenings in the Tampere region at, for example, day-care centres and schools. The Centre also rents 16 mm films for screenings. Education

Pirkanmaa Film Centre keeps an extensive archive of films and film-connected material for the use of members and schools.
