Long-Distance Coaches

Long-distance intercity coaches arrive at and depart from the Long-Distance Coach Station (in Finnish: linja-autoasema). The station is located in the city centre at approximately 500 metres from the Railway Station and Hämeenkatu, the main street.

Some of the coaches also stop at other locations in the city centre (Hämeenkatu, Keskustori Central Square, Railway Station) - you can always ask the driver.
From Helsinki (city centre, harbour and airport) there is a coach to Tampere almost every hour. Check the timetable on the website of Paunu Bus.
