The Apia Public Park is situated only a short walk away from the Valkeakoski city centre.

The Apia national park is worth of visiting with the whole family, take a lunch bag with you and spend a nice summer day in the park! There are plenty of sports facilities, a swimming beach and an adventure park for children. The children can splash around in shallow lagoons, play in the log towers and bastions, and climb and play on other safe play apparatus. Apia sports field is right next to the park and around the beach area there are a skating park and a beach volley field. In the sauna building you find sauna, locker rooms, toilets and kiosk. In winter time it’s possible to go ice swimming. Also different kind of events are arranged in the park such as open-air theatre performances and concerts. During the events the adventure park is closed.
