The traditional Tampere Christmas Market operates in the style of the Middle European Christmas markets. It offers traditional Christmas handicrafts and other products from Finland and abroad, as well as tasty food, glühwein and treats belonging to the Christmas time.
There is also daily programme for all ages ranging from carol singers to a musical play that continues over several years – all the way until 2016 Christmas Market. And you will naturally have a chance to meet Father Christmas daily at the market place.

How to get there:
Tampere has an international airport with direct flights to and from many European hubs. There's a bus connection from the airport to the city centre.
Trains to Tampere depart from all the major cities in Finland. A train from Helsinki takes less than two hours.
Just follow the Hämeenkatu main street from the railway station for half a kilometer and you'll find the Christmas Market.
All the city bus lines use the marketplace as a hub, so you can also take a local blue bus to the Christmas Market.
