On a warm and sunny summer evening, you can walk or ride your bike to the Kaupinoja sauna for some sauna bathing and swimming in the lake. Only a 15-minute bike ride from the Tampere railway station.

The Kaupinoja sauna is located by Lake Näsijärvi in the district of Kauppi, near the UKK Institute. It is a popular place for relaxation among the locals. The sauna is annually visited by 45,000 people.

The sauna includes dressing and shower rooms for men and women as well as a shared sauna. You can leave your clothes in the dressing rooms. Keys to lockers where you can store your valuables are available from the attendant.

Hand the €5 entry fee to the attendant, who also sells beverages as well as sausages for grilling in the yard.

Bikes can be rented in the centre of Tampere, for example, from the car rental company Hertz at €15/day.
