The Mänttä Art Festival offers the broadest cross-section of Finnish contemporary art. The artists are chosen by a different artistic director – curator – every year. In 2013, the task has been given to the artist Jyrki Siukonen (b. 1959).

Contemporary art meets its curious audience in the impressive Pekilo building, a 1980s livestock feed factory in the centre of Mänttä by Koskelanlampi.

Mänttä Art Festival will be opened on 9 June and stay open until the end of August every day 10:00 am-06:00 pm. Free entrance for children aged 0-16 visiting with their parents.
